The plain terms for study places and courses — including our refund policy. Last updated: 11 June 2026.
These terms apply when you book a study place, grind or course with Revise.ie, operated by Reviseonline Limited (registered in Ireland, company no. 418387) ("Revise.ie", "we", "us" and "our"). By booking, the parent or guardian making the booking agrees to them on the student's behalf.
Our refund promise
Since 2007, every Revise.ie study place and course has carried a no-questions-asked, pro-rata refund.
Bookings are made through the website or in person and are confirmed once payment is received. Card payments are handled securely by Stripe — we don't store card details. You can pay a term in full, or in three monthly instalments. The first is taken when you book and the place is held from that point; the remaining two are taken from the same card on 1 October and 1 November. Same total — no interest, no fee.
If you book a Maths grind or a study-and-grinds bundle, your child also receives free access to our Mathslive notes platform, on Mathslive's terms. That platform includes a written channel through which your child can ask their teacher a question about their own work. Every message stays inside the platform, is attributed and timestamped, cannot be deleted by either party, and is reviewed by our Relevant Person. You may ask for a copy of your child's messages at any time, and if you would prefer your child did not have the channel, contact us and we will arrange that. Evening study and Saturday study on their own involve no messaging between staff and students. Our Child Safeguarding Statement sets this out in full.
Current prices are shown on each programme page. Prices are per term unless stated otherwise. We may change prices for future terms, but never for a term you've already paid for.
If a student withdraws from a study place, or cancels a course booking, we refund the unused portion — no forms, no medical certs, no quibble. We do not refund occasional missed sessions where the student's place remained available to them. To request a refund, just email info@revise.ie.
Your 14-day cooling-off right. When you book online you have a statutory right to change your mind within 14 days under Irish and EU consumer law. Some businesses ask you to give that right up when a service starts straight away. We don't ask you to waive it. You keep the full 14 days.
On top of that, our own no-questions pro-rata refund applies at any point in the term — which is both more generous than the statutory right and lasts a great deal longer than 14 days. In practice, that is the one nearly everybody uses.
The centre runs on a small set of house rules that keep the room working for everyone. The key ones: phones are for school use only; work is silent and individual; and students who repeatedly disrupt others are asked to leave and do not return. Where a study place ends because of repeated disruption, the unused portion is refunded pro-rata as above.
Attendance is recorded at the door and parents are kept informed. There is always a supervisor in the room. Students are responsible for their own travel to and from the centre unless otherwise arranged. Revise.ie is not responsible for students outside scheduled programme times.
Occasionally we may need to change a date, time or venue (for example, a venue becoming unavailable). We'll give as much notice as we can, and if a change means a student can no longer attend a session they've paid for, that session is refunded pro-rata.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law. Subject to that, Revise.ie will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from attendance at a programme. These terms are governed by the law of Ireland.
