Code of Conduct.

At Revise we aim to provide a friendly, safe and comfortable environment for every student. To keep it that way, everyone who studies with us follows this code. It has worked since 2007 — and it doesn't change.

In the hall

What every student agrees to.

Students must follow any instruction given by a supervisor, at all times.
Study time is quiet time. Talking or messing will not be tolerated.
Every student does their own school work and does not disrupt others.
Students may only arrive and leave during the specified break times.
No moving around the hall during study time.
Students are responsible for their own belongings.
The ultimate responsibility for a student rests with their parents.
Revise.ie does not take responsibility for any student who leaves the premises.

Phones

If you are using your phone for school work, it must be flat on the table, face up. If you are not using it, it goes in your pocket. If we are in any doubt, we take the phone for the session — no arguments.

Toilet

There is no going to the toilet during study. Use the breaks.

If a student breaks the code

Clear, every time. No surprises.

Should any issue arise with a student, we follow the same protocol every time — and we document it.

First offence — a verbal warning, which is documented.

Second offence — parents are contacted and told the student is on a final warning.

Final offence — the student is asked to leave and may not attend any Revise study sessions for the remainder of the school year.

In the case of a major issue, the student is asked to leave immediately and may not return for the remainder of the school year. Parents are notified.
