Teachers & Topics

Who's teaching, and what you'll cover

Every class is taught by an experienced teacher who knows the exam inside out. Six of them were taught by Carl himself, before they came back to teach with Revise. Here's who takes each subject and exactly what each course covers.

How it works

Hard work, made easy to do.

The structure does the heavy lifting, so students just show up and work.

01

A real day, properly run

Six timed blocks, 9 to 6, with a supervised lunch. The day has a rhythm, so nobody drifts.

02

Teachers who know the exam

Each subject is taken by someone who teaches it for a living and marks the way the State exams are marked.

03

Free slots aren't free time

Any block you're not in class, you're in supervised study — phones away, work out, help on hand.

04

A room parents can trust

Run by a working Maths teacher in a venue you can see and visit, the way Revise has done it since 2007.

05

Every class checked in

Attendance at every class — and every study block — is logged on the Revise app, so a student is always where they should be.

06

Checked in from the door

On the first morning students check in at the entrance, so we know the moment they've arrived and where they're headed.

Change of plan? You're covered.

If a student withdraws, we refund the unused portion — no questions, no quibble, no awkward conversation. Always. It's how we've run Revise for nearly twenty years, and it isn't going to change.

Questions

The things parents ask

Does my child have to come every day?
Yes — it runs as a five-day block, 29 March to 2 April, and the value is in the full run. Students attend each day in the classes they've booked, with supervised study in any free slot.
What if they only want one or two subjects?
That's fine. You book exactly the subjects you want. They sit in supervised study during any slot they're not in a class, so the day is still structured start to finish.
How does the free subject work?
Once you've taken two subjects, the next one is free. It's an early-bird offer — book at least three weeks before the course (by 8 March) to claim it. Pick the subjects you want when you book and the free one is applied automatically.
Do they need to be a Revise member?
No. The Easter Intensive is open to any student — members and non-members alike, at the same price.
What should they bring?
Their own books, copies and a charged calculator, plus lunch or money for it. Phones are handed up or put away during class and study.
How do I know my child actually attended?
Every class and every study block is checked in on the Revise app, so we always know each student is in the right room. They check in at the door on the first morning, and attendance is logged across the whole course — just ask and we'll tell you exactly how the days went.
What's the Study Week, and can I book it on its own?
The Study Week is an optional extra week of supervised study — five days, 22nd to 26th March, 9 to 1 and 2 to 5 — the week before the intensive. It's €50 on top of your course, and it's only open to students booked on the main intensive; it can't be booked on its own.
What's the refund policy?
If a student withdraws, we refund the unused portion, pro-rata, with no questions asked. It's the same no-quibble policy Revise has always run.
