Supervised Study, Grinds & Revision Courses

At Revise we offer an amazing facility for students to excel with their school work & study. We offer weekly higher level maths grinds (both in-person & online), supervised study & revision courses at Christmas & Easter.

Supervised Study

Supervised study is a main component of what we offer and has been invaluable to students for over 15 years. Supervised evening study takes place from 7pm – 9.10pm Monday to Thursday. Students can choose to do 1-4 evenings per week. Extra evenings can be added on at any stage throughout the term. Students must be pre registered for this and booking is for a term basis. We have 2 terms per year, Term 1: September to December. Term 2: January to May.

Weekend study takes place on Saturday during term 1 and Saturday & Sunday during term 2. Weekend study is pay as you go. There are 2 sessions per day 10am – 1pm and 2pm – 5pm. Cost is €5 per session which can be paid to the supervisor on the day of attendance.

Once students are registered on our app you can check attendance through a link which will be emailed to you. You can request the link at any stage by emailing [email protected]. Just input the students email and you can view attendance.

Grinds

Yes. Revise.ie has offered Ireland’s top in-person grinds for 15 years and added online grinds in 2020 due to the pandemic. Online grinds continue to grow in popularity, and our live and interactive structure makes learning engaging and fun.

Currently we offer weekly higher level maths grinds to 3rd, 5th & 6th year students. 3rd and 5th year students attend 1 grind session per week. 6th year students attend 2 grind sessions per week. Students have regular tests which are very important for keeping focus and evaluating students progress.

Grind sessions take place in the Revise centre at the Kilkenny Ormonde Hotel.

At Christmas & Easter we deliver revision courses for LC & JC students, covering a good range of subjects.

Online Grinds

Yes. Once a student has registered for weekly grinds they can attend in-person or online.

The online platform we use is called TrainerCentral. Once you have registered and verified your email address you will be able to enroll in your course. It’s important that you do this as soon as possible so you become familiar with the layout.

You will receive a reminder email to attend class an hr prior to class start time.

Emails can not be altered once registered, so please register using the email that you will be using to attend online sessions.

If you miss a class, once class has been completed you will be able to view a recording of the session in your own time.

During live sessions you can ask question to the tutor via a question tab.

If using a handheld device, download the TrainerCentral app input our academy URL: revise.trainercentralsite.eu. This will be more convenient for attending classes and viewing recordings.

Why not check out our free trial classes to see if this is something that will suit your needs.

Online classes have become increasingly popular among students. Life can get pretty busy, being able to access grinds on the go or at home relieves the pressure of having the resources to be able to attend in-person.

We have seen a new trend where students are benefiting most from the hybrid alternative of attending in-person and online depending what suits on a given day. When you book with revise you really do get it all, with the best tutors in the business.
