Focus on how to approach the reading comprehensions: identifying key information, using context to fill in gaps, and understanding the importance of synonyms in exam marking.
Day 2 – The Oral Exam: Building Confident Answers
Work on structuring answers for the oral exam: preparing core topics (family, school, future plans), using opinion phrases, and practising natural pronunciation and flow. Emphasis on questions that use the past, future, and conditional tenses.
Day 3 – Writing: Using the Past Tenses in Personal Narratives
Learn to write short diary entries, notes, or dialogue prompts that require the past tense, focusing on pretérito vs. imperfecto and time expressions (ayer, cuando era pequeño…).
Day 4 – Listening Comprehension Techniques
Develop strategies for the listening exam: predicting context, recognising key words, and effective note-taking during the listening test.

Study is a supervised environment where students can do their own work without disruption. Study times and breaks run inline with the timetable for the revision course. Students can attend study when they are not in their courses. Please note that students can only come and go during scheduled break times.

Why are Maths A & Maths B two separate subjects?
Higher level Maths at leaving cert level has a massive course content. To make sure as much of the main topics get covered as possible it has to be broken down in to two separate subjects. Algebra and Trigonometry are covered at Christmas, Probability and Statistics & Functions and Differentiation are covered at Easter.
